Follow A "Proven Path" For Online Marketing Success

Never assume that every online guru has your best interests in mind. Naturally they are going to expect something in return. Usually it means an endless barrage of emails touting their latest and greatest eBook that you can download for "just" $197 Only Today! (usually with a countdown timer image next to it with only 5 minutes remaining on the "special offer").

Those "gurus" basically want you to empty your wallet/checking account into theirs. I spent way too much attention to such gurus at the beginning of my quest for marketing success, and lost a small fortune doing it before I realized that there was a better way.

"First things first," I always say. Every journey begins with the first step. That is where we will start...at the beginning. Follow the "Proven Path" to success.

Where did this "Proven Path" come from? My observations, researching what the so-called gurus actually did to get such great results, and using resources that match your income level at the stage you are at on your Internet marketing learning curve.

Have you ever really taken a good look at a website belonging to a wealthy, well-known Internet marketing guru? Did you ever think to analyze it, or notice the psychology behind the wording, or the sense of urgency used, or even the little colored, enclosed boxes they use that draws your eyes to important facts they want you to really pay attention to? These are only a tiny handful of the methods the "gurus" don't want you to be aware of. After all, if everyone used the same methods, there would be even more fierce competition. They don't like a "level playing field!"

I personally think there is plenty of Internet wealth to go around, and if you do a good enough job of marketing, you deserve a good income in return. Like any business...You get out of it what you put into it! There is no reason why you can't succeed online. I refuse to lie to you and say that it is so easy that a half witted monkey can do it. No way! Truth be told, it is hard work...but the rewards are many!

Time freedom - Work when You want to work
Spend quality time with your family, on you own schedule
No one tells you what your time is worth - You decide
Vacation when you please - No begging a boss
You are in charge of your own business
No costly, time consuming, gas wasting commute
every day is "casual day" if you want
You choose where your office will be each day
You pay taxes on "Profits" quarterly, not on weekly income

This is just a "short list" of the advantages of having your own home based business. I Tell It Like It Is...

If you are a newbie (someone just starting out for the first time on the Internet), you need a lot more information than the seasoned Internet surfer.

If you plan on marketing anything on the Internet - be it eBay, or an affiliate program - you need to learn what NOT to do before learning anything else. I will divide this learning curve into more than one section.
