Are you too busy working several hours per day just to make a living to earn any real money?

As you grew up, your parents kept harping at you to "...go to school, get a good education so you can get a good job, and you will be set for life...". I know mine did just that. Well, as they say, things change with time.

At this time in our country's history, there is not the same level of 'job security' that existed when your grandparents and parents were young. Today, high level corporate jobs are being eliminated by the scores in the name of 'down-sizing' for reasons of cutting expenses for the company. The almighty 'bottom line' is all that matters to the company. The idea that they are keeping their shareholders happy doesn't matter to the people who lost their jobs in the shuffle for sure.

There are now people who made five and six figure incomes per year who are losing their homes, having their utilities cut off, and applying for food stamps. Worse yet, unless one is in the top 10% of the high income earners who happen to have at least a million dollar 'nest egg' set aside for retirement, chances are you will be at the mercy of family and friends' generosity to get by in old age. Social Security doesn't look all that secure from where I am sitting (closing in fast on retirement age myself). You need to learn some skills that will bring in residual income for you that may mean the difference between retiring or working until they carry you away in a pine box.

Several years ago, I turned to the Internet to find a way to earn an extra income. If I were not a persistant person, willing to keep on plugging away at learning all I needed to learn in order to compete, I never would have succeeded at earning decent money on the Internet.

You will find out rather quickly that the lure of 'quick riches' with 'no work' hype you see every day on the web are just a pack of lies to drag you into spending an unending amount of cash for more and more products.

• Contact Manager
• Ad Tracker

Each of these has their own purpose. The money is in the list. You will hear that mantra repeated unlimited times on thousands of websites. The reason for that fact is because it is true.

If you have no Autoresponder, you do not have even a potentially successful business. You will simply be as effective as the man spitting into the wind.

You need a Lead Capture Page to grab the attention of your prospect, and a form on it to capture his/her contact information. This is fed into your autoresponder, which sends out the information you wish to send to the prospect. The Autoresponder and Lead Capture Page work together to build that all important 'List' you keep hearing about online.

The Contact Manager helps you keep track of your contacts that are important to you. This helps you remember names, birthdays, contact information, etc. that will keep your business building and growing more successful.

An Ad Tracker is also a must when marketing online. Why? Without one you can never know where your 'leads' that are on your list came from. You need to know which ad attracted more leads.

If you had two ads and one brought in 20 prospects out of 500 mailings and another ad brought in only 5 prospects out of 500 mailings, which ad would you rather use for your next mailing?

The Ad Tracker gives you that vital information. This is one item that most of the top 3% marketing experts swear they can not do without. In fact, if you read their blogs and info products, they will tell you to use all of the above tools.

New Programs That Earn Lots of Cash For Online Marketers...

Internet Marketers are always looking for new resources and methods to make serious money on the Internet from home. The easiest way to do this without having your own website and/or your own product to sell, is to sell products others have created.

For years, there were limited programs to do this. There are many affiliate programs on the Internet that offer the ability to sell actual products that are ordered through a vendor, and then shipped to a physical address. The only problem with these programs is that the marketer promoting these products must wait for the item to ship to the customer, and wait for the amount of time the buyer has within which to return the item before payment is sent. This can take from one to six months for receipt of payment for an item sold. This is not the best option for a marketer who wants a fast turn-around time from the time of sale to actual profit for his/her efforts.

If you want to sell your own eBooks online, then you have only two choices for professional looking graphics you will need to promote them.

• Hire someone to create the graphics for you
• Create them yourself

Option #1 - Hire Someone

Once in a great while, you can find someone willing to create an eBook cover for $50, but this is rare indeed. Usually they are just starting out and need to build a reputation for themselves. Understand List Building and Why You Need Your Own List

Why Build Your Own List?

If you have been marketing online for any length of time, most of you have heard a lot of marketing experts saying that "The Money Is In The List."

Do you know how to build a prospect list, or even what it means? I have had several people who join my 'Your Biz Success!' training website ask me this very question. To answer this question, I will start with one of my own.

Have you ever joined an affiliate program of any kind?

Every last person has answered that question with a resounding "yes!" 

Now comes the one thing most people do not realize. When you refer someone to an affiliate program, you do so because you will get paid, and/or you will get to email them within the confines of the program's member area. That may sound nice to you, but think about this:

Whose List Did You Build When You Referred That Person?

It certainly was not YOUR list. You were building the list of the program owners! If the Money is in the List, you just let the Money go into the pocket of the program owner!

At this point, some of my members get a bit defensive, and ask me what else they can do. After all, that is the way that these things work! 

Yes! That is true and you can't change how the program works. The program doesn't belong to you and you have no control over it. 

BUT...

You have the ability to capture the information of your referral BEFORE they sign up for that program! 

The vast majority of Internet marketers today are not that experienced at creating a Lead Capture Page that will make it possible to capture the name and email address of a referral. So, what is a lead capture page? It is the compact page that is designed to grab the attention of a prospect and compel them to enter their name and email address in order to gain information, and/or a free item that is offered on that lead capture page. 

There are several websites and programs out there that offer lead capture page creators, either as their sole purpose, or as a part of their websites offerings. The free versions are usually difficult to use (impossible for a newbie), and are very limited in how much the templates can be personalized. Most of the upgrade fees for such sites are high enough that they make even the most enthusiastic marketer hesitate to invest in it. They also limit the number of Lead Capture Pages to between one and three pages. 

The program I use, for less than the monthly upgrade fees of other sites only offering one marketing tool, offers not only a lead capture page creator (the upgrade offers unlimited pages), but an auto-responder (again, unlimited for the upgrade) with unlimited emails for each auto-responder, a contact manager  (the likes of which I have never seen offered anywhere else), and a Conference Room for every upgraded member! And this is just the tip of the iceberg as the saying goes. 

So, if you are promoting any program using the signup page offered by that programs developers...

 Quit building the lists of the owners of ALL of those Programs you have joined! You are doing all the work, and the program owner is getting all of those email addresses in HIS/HER LIST! If you leave the program, you will lose all of those people you worked so hard to refer (if you ever had access to them in the first place).
